- Atheists, start off with a presumption that there is no God. No, they do not. The atheist starts off WITHOUT presumptions, then weighs evidence to reach a conclusion. A conclusion that can evolve with the incorporation of new scientific knowledge, I might add.

- I think you are splitting hairs. However, it is a very important distinction. To say that atheism is some sort of belief structure is to misunderstand what atheism really is....which is what you attempted to called it, and I was correcting you.

- can you see air, the wind, radio waves, sun rays ,neutrons…. can go on and on. You're comparing apples to oranges. One can prove the existence of these things, however, the existence of your version of god remains unproven.

- Atheism is a belief that there is no supernatural deity. No, it is not. It is a lack of beliefs. Generally speaking, it's the view that the existence of a certain god or gods is unproven, not necessarily disproven.

- That sign was not forcing this girl to pray or do anything religious. It was endorsing a "Christian" viewpoint on public property using public funding. This is illegal. This is an outrage that any court would give a 16 year old child this much power.
